Job Summary: 


The Membership Consultant is responsible for generating and maintaining a high-quality membership base. This role focuses on lead generation, prospecting, sales presentations, and supporting member retention efforts. The ideal candidate is energetic, goal-oriented, and thrives in a client-facing, fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide engaging and informative facility tours to prospective members.
  • Conduct telephone outreach, follow-up, and other lead generation efforts.
  • Complete new member paperwork and process membership additions or cancellations.
  • Assist in executing member retention initiatives.
  • Collaborate on promotional materials and assemble member welcome packets.
  • Coordinate facility usage for rentals and ensure appropriate staffing.
  • Communicate updates and concerns with the front desk staff.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Attend required trainings and team meetings.
  • Enforce facility rules and guidelines professionally and tactfully.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and dependability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Sales experience in a service-oriented industry strongly preferred.
  • Effective communication, promotional, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prospect, build relationships, and close sales.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Adaptability and composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational personality.
  • Professional demeanor, appearance, and discretion.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative attitude.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, stooping, bending, and reaching.
  • Availability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
