Scope of Position:
This safety-minded and motivated individual, as part of the Foundry team is responsible for inspecting the pour and recharge enclosure, analyzing and correcting system failures and initiating solid communication with Charger and Molding Machine Operators.

This safety-minded and motivated individual, as part of the Foundry team is responsible for inspecting the pour and recharge enclosure, analyzing and correcting system failures and initiating solid communication with Charger and Molding Machine Operators.

This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is onsite at our Franklin, NH Facility. This position is1st Shift Hours: M-T 2:50 AM - 2:20 PM with overtime per business need.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Start-up, set-up and run auto pour machine, also hand pouring required. 
  • Able to use overhead crane for recharging of furnaces. 
  • Analyze and correct simple system failures.
  • Inspect the pour and recharge enclosure, prior to starting process. 
  • Report mechanical malfunctions to maintenance and/or the supervisor. 
  • Use of good judgment and common sense to reduce scrap and serious problems. 
  • Maintain area in a neat and orderly fashion.  
  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Production Supervisor or Company management.
  • Responsibility directly tied to Watts Value (Integrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Transparency)

Required Qualifications

Working Conditions:

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the Company’s Franklin location in Franklin, NH. Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.

Physical Requirements: Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor.
  • Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
