Job DescriptionYour Responsibilities
Technical Development and Delivery: Implementing, customizing, and developing solutions within IBM Maximo, focusing on desktop, mobile, integration, and reporting components. Utilize Gen’s DevOps set of automated tools for efficient project delivery.
Design and Development: Work closely with product managers to align on product strategy, vision, and roadmap. Create detailed functional design documents, user stories, and technical specifications for feature development.
Collaboration: Engage in collaborative work with project managers, technical architects, solution architects, and the development team. Lead the technical aspects of projects, ensuring the optimal technical solution is delivered on time.
Innovation and Problem Solving: Research and analyze business domains or problems. Gather functional requirements and contribute to the creation of innovative solutions that enhance user experience and meet project goals.
Quality Assurance and Documentation: Support testing activities, including integration tests, and ensure documentation is comprehensive and clear, covering technical specifications, deployment plans, and user guides.
QualificationsEssential Experience & Capabilities:
- 3-6 years experience with IBM Maximo development and implementations.
- Expertise in Java / JavaScript, DB2 /Oracle, and familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Docker, SQL, AWS / Azure.
- Strong background in Maximo Integration Framework, both configuration and customization integrations.
- A solid understanding of the Maximo data model and EAM ecosystems.
- Experience in Agile Product Development and SDLC.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- A technical degree or equivalent professional qualification.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in PaaS environments (AWS or MS Azure).
- Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with MAX 8
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and Microsoft tools (Azure DevOps).
