This role will be part of the Hearsay team, now an integral part of Yext.
As a Medior Software Engineer with Hearsay, you'll have the opportunity to actively contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of services operating at a high scale and ensuring enterprise-level reliability. Joining the ranks of one of Silicon Valley's prominent enterprise firms, you'll collaborate closely with seasoned engineers, gaining valuable insights and hands-on experience in crafting and scaling robust systems.

- Participating in designing solutions and technical plans.
- Debug, review the code and fix any problem in the software domain of the team.
- Execute assigned projects and plans.
- Design, code, perform code reviews, and test assigned features and user stories.
- Assist in prioritization and negotiation to formulate the roadmap of the product.
- Participate in making architectural decisions.
- Work towards continuous improvement in both the processes of the team and technology.
What You Have
- 3+ years of full-stack development experience.
- Mastering of OO code and principles. 3+ Years of experience in developing business solutions with one of the following languages: Python, Java, C++, or C#. (At Hearsay you’ll work with Python and Kotlin!).
- Knowledge of current and well-established component-based frontend libraries/frameworks (preferably React, Backbone, Underscore).
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
- Strong experience with relational databases, including schema design, query tuning, data migrations, and designing for high availability & disaster recovery. Or the same level of experience with any NoSQL database and any NoSQL query language.
- Experience with cloud concepts and components (IaaS and PaaS).
- Desire to cover your work with tests (preferably with Jest).
- Experience working across the technical stack, developing modern web apps, and building systems that scale.
- Ability to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in software development.
- Ability to speak and write in English and Hungarian fluently and idiomatically
