We at Holycode are currently looking for a Medior QA Engineer with curiosity, passion for product quality, and a strong desire to learn, ready to dive into the neon project team for a full-time engagement and join our company of talented IT professionals.
What You’ll Do:
- Test our mobile banking app to ensure a smooth and reliable user experience.
- Test backend services and APIs to verify functionality, performance, and data integrity.
- Participate in the bug triage process, including reproducing and helping debug reported issues.
- Contribute to different parts of the agile process, including daily stand-ups and backlog grooming.
- Perform testing for app releases and support high-quality production deployments.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to maintain overall product quality.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience testing web and/or mobile applications in a real-world project
- Hands-on experience testing APIs, preferably using Postman
- Strong understanding of core software testing principles and methodologies
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, HTTP protocols, HTML, and CSS
- Ability to reproduce, document, and clearly communicate issues
- Collaborative mindset and effective communication skills
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn and grow in QA and software testing
- Fluent in spoken and written English
Nice to Have:
- Experience participating in agile processes such as daily stand-ups or backlog grooming
- Exposure to mobile app testing on Android or iOS
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database queries
- Interest in fintech or digital banking products
- Experience with bug triage and debugging workflows, including analysing logs and using monitoring tools
