About the Opportunity
On behalf of our client, we are hiring a Medior Engineer to support their newly established
factory. Our client is a European company focused on producing ULD’s for aviation
industry, specializing in two core product lines: Pallet Products and Container Products.
Joining the team as a Medior Engineer, you will support the development, testing, and
optimization of fabric components used in their air cargo solutions, ensuring they meet
technical, safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process Setup & Optimization
- Support factory in setting up sewing machines, cutting machines, printing machines,
and laser machines.
- Observe and report workflow bottlenecks, propose improvements.
- Participate in lean manufacturing activities (5S, Kanban, VSM).
- Support AM/PM activities for production equipment.
- Translate design data into manufacturing steps and documentation.
- Provide guidance and training to technicians to ensure proper use of machines and
adherence to processes.
2. Tooling & Equipment
- Assist in preparing tools and equipment to improve manufacturing speed and quality.
- Monitor machine usage and report performance issues.
- Related to setting up and professionalizing the business.
3. Other tasks as request by Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Garment Technology, Mechanical
Engineering focusing on textile, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in product development and prototyping, in the textile
manufacturing industry, pattern making, tarpaulin making, or strapping.
- Knowledge of fabric and garment engineering, including material properties, pattern
making, sewing techniques, sewing machine, cutting machine....
- Ability to read and create technical drawings, specifications, and bills of materials;
familiarity with CAD or pattern design software is an advantage.
- Intermediate English is required
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze causes, propose practical
improvements, and support implementation on the production floor.
