Automate business processes using transactional data from more than 8 million Rabobank customers. As a Medior Data Scientist, you are responsible for developing, improving, and implementing machine learning solutions within the RATE TIX team. You work on reports that make a difference for both private and business customers, and you see the results of your work directly in production. You are involved in the entire ML lifecycle: from experimentation and modelling to production and monitoring. RATE TIX is the place where your expertise and ambition come together.

• Improve the performance of TIX through ideation, exploration, and feature development.
• Harmonise external and internal transaction data to increase the applicability of the model.
• Build cost-effective solutions that contribute to reliable reports for millions of customers.

• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify opportunities, implement improvements in code, and assess the impact on model performance and customer experience.

• Master’s or PhD in Data Science or a related field with a strong statistical and analytical background.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with the full ML lifecycle—from experimentation to production and monitoring. You have a strong understanding of model performance evaluation. You have a passion for building clean, maintainable, and testable solutions.
• Strong Python programming skills, hands-on experience with Databricks, skilled in GIT and CI/CD pipeline development.
• You thrive in an innovative stetting, take initiative, dare to challenge the status quo, aren’t afraid to speak up and share (bold) new ideas that drive us forward.
• Ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written), Dutch is a plus.
• Experience with transaction data is a plus.
