Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) is responsible for delivering up-to-date scientific information to a broad group of healthcare professionals. The role focuses on high-quality medical-to-medical engagement, providing scientific, clinical, and technical expertise across assigned therapeutic areas and products.
MSL maintains continuous cross-functional collaboration with different Business Units. The top priority is to provide accurate scientific information to healthcare providers and to gather high-quality medical insights. The MSL actively supports the strategic direction of assigned products and is therefore exposed to key decision-makers both within the organization and externally.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead high-quality medical-to-medical scientific communication.
- Identify, map, and engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) through regular face-to-face and virtual interactions.
- Organize and conduct medical meetings and scientific activities with KOLs to deliver cutting-edge scientific information within the assigned therapeutic area and products.
- Conduct medical education meetings to introduce new scientific concepts, support improvements in patient outcomes, and enhance physicians' research capabilities.
- Respond to medical inquiries in a timely and compliant manner.
- Establish and maintain strong academic relationships with institutions and organizations in the vaccines area.
- Collaborate and align with the Medical Manager to effectively engage KOLs.
- Collect, analyze, and report timely local medical insights to support product strategy and scientific messaging development.
- Support clinical research activiites as needed
- Ensure timely completion of SOP training and consistent adherence to SOPs in daily activities.

Qualifications
- Healthcare - related degree (Medicine, Biology, Biomedical sciences, etc.)
- Residency or specialization, along with experience in clinical practice and/or direct patient care, is highly recommended.
Experience
- Experience in primary care or public health programs is desirable.
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry would be an asset
