The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a field‑based Medical Affairs professional responsible for executing high‑quality, non‑promotional scientific exchange with healthcare professionals and external experts within assigned therapeutic areas within Thailand.
The MSL serves as Pfizer’s primary scientific interface in the field, delivering accurate, balanced, and timely scientific information to support evidence‑based clinical decision making and improved patient outcomes.
Operating within an approved medical and scientific communication strategy, the MSL focuses on individualized, needs‑based engagement, insight generation, and scientific partnership building, while upholding the highest standards of medical integrity, compliance, and professionalism.
1. Field‑Based Scientific Engagement: Executes proactive and reactive, non‑promotional scientific exchange with healthcare professionals, aligned with approved medical strategies, key scientific narratives, and CMAO standards.
2. Execution of Scientific Communication Strategy: Delivers scientific communication plans for assigned products and therapeutic areas as defined by Medical Lead / Field Medical Manager, including:
· Dissemination of approved clinical data and scientific updates
· Tailored scientific discussions based on stakeholder needs and expertise
· Execution of omnichannel medical engagement (e.g. face‑to‑face, virtual, and digital scientific interactions) within defined guidance
3. Stakeholder Relationship Development: Builds and maintains trusted, long‑term scientific relationships with assigned healthcare professionals and external experts through consistent, high‑quality engagement.
4. Medical Insight Capture & Reporting: Systematically captures medical insights, scientific questions, and unmet needs from the field using approved tools and processes, and communicates these insights to inform medical strategy, evidence generation, and lifecycle planning.
5. Medical Information & Scientific Support: Provides accurate, balanced, and timely responses to unsolicited medical inquiries in accordance with approved processes, local regulations, and Pfizer policies.
6. Collaboration with Field Medical Colleagues: Collaborates closely with Field Medical Managers and peer MSLs to ensure consistency of scientific messaging, sharing of best practices, and continuous improvement of field medical excellence.

REQUIRED SKILLS- Degree in Medical, Pharmaceutical, Biomedical, or Life Sciences (e.g. MD, MBBS, DDS, PharmD, PhD, MSc).
- Solid foundational knowledge in clinical medicine, disease states, and evidence‑based healthcare.
- Typically 2–5 years experience in Medical Affairs, clinical research, or a scientific role within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
