Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and innovative Media Technology Solutions Specialist with a strong focus on multimedia engineering to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining multimedia systems and infrastructure that support high-quality audio, video, and streaming services across the organization.
Your main tasks are:
- Design, deploy, and maintain multimedia systems including AV hardware, video conferencing platforms, and digital signage.
- Integrate multimedia solutions with existing IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage).
- Provide technical support for multimedia production, live events, and hybrid meetings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define multimedia requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to multimedia delivery and playback.
- Ensure compliance with IT security best practices and data protection regulations.
- Document system configurations, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Media Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in IT systems engineering with a focus on multimedia technologies.
- Proficiency in AV systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron), video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams), and media servers.
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, multicast, QoS) and storage systems for media content.
- Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and system integration.
- Hands-on experience with professional audio, video and lighting equipment including setup and control of microphone systems, mixing consoles, DMX fixtures, camera and projection systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
