That’s Nice, But What’s the Job?

In short, as the Media Specialist, you will partner closely with the Employee Experience (EE) Team to capture, produce, and deliver high-quality video and graphic content that supports branding, training, and internal communications. This role blends creative storytelling with technical execution, helping transform ideas and subject matter expertise into engaging micro-learning and performance-support content that resonates with a wide range of audiences.

In long, as the Media Specialist, you will be responsible for:
  • Collaborating with the Employee Experience Team and subject matter experts to storyboard, plan, and execute video projects from concept through delivery.
  • Setting up, operating, and breaking down video, lighting, and audio equipment in both office and field environments.
  • Producing creative, engaging, and on-brand video content that supports employee training, communications, and branding initiatives.
  • Editing and organizing video content to align with adult learning principles and micro-learning best practices.
  • Applying strong storytelling, design, and editorial judgment to ensure clarity, consistency, and high production value.
  • Maintaining visual quality standards and brand consistency throughout the entire production lifecycle.
  • Writing and publishing clear, concise, and easy-to-understand supporting materials to accompany video content.

The Specifics.
  • 3+ years of experience in video production, media creation, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • Bachelors degree and/or technical certification in media production, communications, film, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Adobe Audition, with working knowledge of the broader Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Expertise using modern video editing and production software.
  • Ability to provide a portfolio showcasing past video and media work.
  • Skilled at interviewing and engaging on-camera talent to encourage natural dialogue and authentic storytelling.
Nice to Have.
  • Experience creating micro-learning or training-focused video content.
  • Familiarity with corporate or internal communications environments.
  • Basic motion graphics or animation experience to enhance video storytelling.
