Media Performance Analyst
Overview
This role is an exciting opportunity for a junior-level marketing analyst with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate for this role has a fundamental understanding of digital media data, web analytics platforms, and reporting tools. This is a hands-on role with primary focus on media reporting and deep day-to-day involvement with media data governance, operations, and strategy. The Media Performance Analyst will report to the Media Performance Analytics Manager and will collaborate with media channel teams (across owned and paid channels - i.e.: Email, SEM, Paid Social), as well as integrated media managers and data analytics team. This individual will also work closely with relevant external partners as needed.

Responsibilities
Include but may not be limited to:
- Data QA across various data sources.
- Day-to-day gathering and treatment of media data for reporting and analysis.
- Development and maintenance of recurring and ad hoc media performance reports.
- Liasing with internal and external partners to ensure data standards are observed, applied, and properly maintained.
- Helping investigate data patterns and solve data issues.
- Assist with managing media testing data and cataloguing results.
- Understanding the meaning of KPIs, trends, and tests results to help provide recommendations to the media team for optimizations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in media analytics, ideally with good understanding of digital metrics across owned and paid channels such as Email, Display, Paid Search and Paid Social.
- Agency experience preferred.
- Solid knowledge of Excel, preferably with some knowledge of Power Query. Power BI a plus.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, preferred.
- Basic understanding of web analytics tools/platforms, such as GA4 and Adobe Analytics.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, always seeking to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills, with no fear of asking questions or contributing ideas.
- Team-oriented, with a collaborative spirit and ability to take responsibility.
Benefits
The annual base salary range is $50000-$60000 / year This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
