The Role
Within the Media Operations team, we’re looking for an experienced marketing Media Operations Manager with cross-media operational experience (such as organic & paid social operations, programmatic advertising, data measurement) to oversee campaign distribution success, govern vendor/agency resources, uphold our strict security measures, drive success metrics, and maintain the tools and systems we use to deliver operational excellence and exceptional media standards.
Note: This is not a creative role— this is a role for someone deeply passionate about driving the complex and often unseen technical engines that bring big brands to global audiences.
This role goes far beyond day‑to‑day trafficking and request management. We’re looking for someone who can challenge the status quo and introduce new, scalable ways of working— whether that’s through new operational frameworks, AI‑driven efficiencies, or innovative resourcing models. We don’t just need doers; we need builders who can see around corners and design for what’s next.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable in the weeds and at 30,000 feet: you’ve personally trafficked campaigns, but you’ve also architected systems, processes, or workflows from the ground up. You bring strong cross‑functional collaboration skills, a deep curiosity for the “why” behind the work, and hands‑on experience across major social platforms and creative formats. Experience doing this at scale in entertainment and/or tech is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
Oversee social campaign delivery and asset posting on Social Platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X/Twitter across multiple regions (e.g. UK, Spain, Italy, Germany, Poland, etc.) at high scale/volume
Oversee quality control/assurance (QC) needs
Execute upon platform and campaign security needs, like overseeing account/platform access for internal and external users
Engage with internal cross functional teams to identify, optimize and execute workflows that support regional marketing initiatives.
Manage vendor/agency operations, workflow onboarding, training, monitoring, and escalations
Continuously evolve our outsourcing and workflow models
Exhibit outstanding stakeholder management skills and deliver results to internal partners in EMEA markets
Expand our team’s operational scope in EMEA by influencing workflow adoption to increase work volume
Partner with Technical Product & Program Management teams and Engineering to evaluate tooling solutions and tradeoffs
Own intake and guidance for new regional programs and projects related to key objectives; includes expansion of creative formats, varied media channels and repeatable launch tasks.
Model best in class project management capabilities with communication of milestones, roadblocks, optimization, key learnings
Contribute to measurement methodology and operational frameworks that scale operational excellence
Leverage data and user insights to drive decision making for new and existing work streams that deliver sustainable, high impact solutions
Advocate, understand and communicate the company values
Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of Social Media Marketing, Ad Operations, Entertainment Ad Tech and/or Media Operations
While not mandatory, relevant certifications are a big plus
Has experience successfully working across multiple European markets simultaneously
Being able to speak multiple languages is a plus
Deep understanding of media platforms and formats
Aptitude in application of social media security workflows and systems
Strength managing cross-functional relationship and projects while communicating progress
Driven partnerships for tooling and workflow implementation, including issue resolution and end-to-end analysis
Mastered simplifying complexity, managing large sets of assets and distributing with precision
Data-driven approach to problem-solving and analysis; managing accountability for deliverables
Identified and resolved advanced technical issues across internal/external toolsets, adeptly troubleshooting with key partners
Experience with essential third party reporting and productivity tools (e.g. Sprinklr, Google Suite, Airtable, Monday.com, 1Password, Google Campaign Manager, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and willingness to pivot as needed
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
Inclusion is a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates. If you want an accommodation/adjustment for a disability or any other reason during the hiring process, please send a request to your recruiting partner.
