Roles and Responsibilities
• Manage daily accounting operations, including review of ERP entries for accuracy and compliance.
• Process vendor payments following internal approvals and guidelines.
• Maintain and review financial trackers and registers in spreadsheets for accuracy.
• Oversee month-end closing entries and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Prepare accurate MIS reports to support business decisions.
• Coordinate statutory audits, acting as a liaison between auditors and management.
• Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and reporting to meet management needs.
• Reconcile financial data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Skills and Experience:
• CA having minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience post qualification from a reputed organisation.
• IGAAP and IFRS knowledge preferred.
• Versatile, motivated, intellectually curious, analytical and a strong communicator.
• As an accounting and finance team member, you will handle the core accounting functions at Media.net.
• Mastered the accounting concepts for your responsibilities while retaining a broad knowledge of principles in other areas.
• Continually learn and develop your skills while providing mobility to move among groups.
• Knowledge of any ERP preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• You will be expected to be hands-on and execute work by yourself.
• A high impact individual contributor and a great team player as well.
Skills Required
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
- Minimum 1-2 years relevant work experience post qualification
- Knowledge of IGAAP and IFRS
- Knowledge of any ERP
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Hands-on ability to execute work independently
- Mastery of core accounting concepts relevant to role
