MEDIA INTELLIGENCE LEAD
We are seeking a driven, organized, and detail-oriented Media Intelligence Lead to join our digital team. The ideal candidate thrives on analyzing data to uncover actionable insights and deliver strategic recommendations to clients. This role will lead media and competitive intelligence reporting, requiring expertise in media monitoring tools, competitive analysis, and social listening platforms to identify industry trends and provide informed, forward-thinking recommendations. Please note: this position follows a non-traditional schedule of nights and weekends.
The Media Intelligence Lead must bring client-facing experience paired with strong storytelling and presentation skills. They will synthesize research findings into clear, concise, and visually compelling reports and presentations that resonate with senior stakeholders. Experience managing teams—in both remote and in-person environments—is required, along with a demonstrated ability to foster collaboration and performance excellence.

Primary Responsibilities:
Client Service
- Lead and manage client accounts with comprehensive oversight, delivering proactive, solutions-focused client service and anticipating needs.
- Develop and present strategic plans aligned with client objectives to drive measurable outcomes.
- Generate C-suite measurement reports to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and inform decision-making.
- Oversee plan execution, monitor team performance, and ensure continuous growth and accountability.
- Foster seamless communication and collaboration across teams to achieve client success.
Media Intelligence
- Build and oversee a high-impact media intelligence program that enables data-driven decision-making.
- Own measurement reporting by extracting and interpreting actionable insights to optimize strategies.
- Leverage deep expertise in media metrics (e.g., impressions, reach, engagement) to assess campaign performance.
- Deliver concise, objective media summaries that highlight key coverage, insights, and strategic implications.
Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct comprehensive competitor research, including announcements, financial updates, and crisis analysis.
- Synthesize strategic insights and key takeaways into actionable recommendations.
- Provide senior leadership with timely reports to enhance competitive intelligence and decision-making.
Media Monitoring
- Utilize tools like Cision, NewsWhip, and Critical Mention to monitor media channels and industry trends.
- Proactively identify breaking news, emerging issues, and relevant conversations, assessing sentiment and tone.
- Deliver timely executive alerts with insights, recommendations, and strategic assessments.
- Collaborate closely with internal account teams to align monitoring insights with client goals.
Agency Responsibilities
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal teams to align on client needs and enhance collaboration.
- Manage and optimize account budgets to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with scopes of work.
- Drive cross-divisional synergies to elevate reporting quality and streamline agency processes.
- Develop and refine resources (e.g., training materials, templates, case studies) to support team and agency success.
- Champion agency growth by identifying expansion opportunities, leading business development initiatives, and delivering impactful client case studies.
Platform Experience
- Required: News monitoring tools (Cision, NewsWhip, TV Eyes, Critical Mention).
- Preferred: Social analytics platforms (Sprinklr, ListenFirst), data visualization tools (Tableau), advanced Excel skills, and social media platform experience (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, etc.).
