QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Two years’ experience in a Broadcast/Digital Media technical environment
Working knowledge of Digital Media concepts and applications (Avid and Adobe Premiere)
General understanding of Broadcast signals and Waveform/Vector scope usage
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Responsible for initiating, executing and monitoring the ingest of PGA TOUR media assets into a large-scale Media Asset Management system.
- Quality control of all video/audio signals ingested into the system.
- Assisting in the organization and staging of assets to be ingested.
- Documentation of all asset manipulation throughout the process.
- Modify and Enhance existing metadata within Viz One for a better and consistent archive. This includes researching and adding metadata to historic items.
- Determine the best quality/process to deal with the differing acquisition file formats coming in from the field.
- Monitor the Viz One transfers for any issues and work with the Media Asset Manager to help resolve them.
- Help Media Asset Manager train general staff users on specific areas of the MAM.
