We are looking for a Mechanics Supervisor to join our beverage can factory in Hämeenlinna.

Mechanics Supervisor

We are looking for a supervisor to join our Mechanical Maintenance department. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of mechanics and machinists, as well as maintenance processes and resources, to ensure continuous operation of machinery and equipment.

Main responsibilities:
  • Supervise the work of the mechanical team by assigning tasks, managing absences, and monitoring task execution and team efficiency.
  • Organize and oversee workshop activities, including planning and execution of inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, initiate and implement improvement actions and continuous improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with other departments on downtime planning, implementation of new technical solutions, and process optimization.
  • Develop and maintain a constant safety environment and provide necessary training updates while striving for zero incidents
Our expectations:
  • Relevant technical education, preferably in mechanics or machine construction.
  • Experience from industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, or equipment servicing within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
