We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to help design, assemble, and test mechanical systems and prototypes that improve last-mile logistics operations. This is a unique opportunity to apply your engineering skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your work directly supports operational excellence across the Intelcom network.
Responsibilities
Design, prototype, assemble, and test mechanical systems
Develop project plans, business cases, and technical specifications.
Document systems to support installation and usage.
Take ownership of project components and ensure successful delivery
Participate in site visits to sorting stations and assist with technology integration.
The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Skilled in 3D printing, with softwares like Bambu Lab.
Experiene with CAD software, including Fusion 360 or SolidWorks.
Knowledge of systems with a foundation in electronics programming.
Strong documentation and organizational skills.
Attention to detail, creativity, and manual dexterity.
