Mechanical Senior Principal Engineer
Mechanical Engineering leads and delivers the development of innovative and compliant mechanical design solutions, as well as cross-functional interfaces for desktop, portable and server computer systems and peripherals. Our team conducts the analysis, feasibility studies and testing of mechanical products, instruments, subassemblies and packaging for new and existing products – and then oversees the introduction of design changes to the manufacturing organizations.

What you’ll achieve
Overview of Job - In this position as Senior Principal DLC Mechanical Engineer, As a vital member of our cross-functional engineering team, you will be instrumental in delivering advanced liquid cooling solutions for AI, HPC, and enterprise server markets. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the mechanical design of liquid cooling components, ensuring the creation of innovative and highly reliable solutions.
You will:
- Lead the mechanical design of critical components for liquid cooling and cold plate solutions. Align with front end concept feasibility to implement cold plate solution ingredients.
- Evaluate design targets and requirements for implementation. Communication capability to lead design presentation, issue triage, and alignment.
- Develop and evaluate strategies and new design concepts to solve future challenges.
- Evaluate design performance through stages of development utilizing analysis and testing. Drive collaboration across diverse team.
- Be a change agent demonstrating passion and supporting a vision for global DLC team.

Essential Requirements
- Expert in pressure vessel design including:
Structural analysis
Construction methodologies
Design for manufacturability
Material requirements
- Experience predicting and validating pressure handling performance of a design
- Creative with strong mechanical intuition and aptitude. CAD, Tolerance Analysis and PPAP experience. Prototype build up and experiment capability
- 10+ years of experience. Minimum of bachelor’s in mechanical engineering (or equivalent); Master’s or PHD preferred
- Fluent in English for presentation and communication
Desirable Requirements
Prior experience with liquid cooling
FEA modeling experience
Experience with FA and root cause analysis
