The Mechanical PVF Quotations Specialist is directly responsible for entering, pricing and ordering material lists for mechanical, heating and plumbing contractors for project related work from internal and external sources; while maintaining their own customer accounts.
Hourly wage based on experience. $21-$23+.
The Primary roles of the Mechanical PVF Quotations Specialist shall include:
- Data entry of a variety of pipe, valves, and fittings as directed by the inside/outside sales teams and directly from Famous Customers into our quotations system
- Regular communication with the Famous Pricing and Purchasing teams
- Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools for quotations generation, when applicable
- Maintenance of records related to market pricing changes
- Fostering relationships with our Product Vendors
- Coordination of standardized pricing for bid and buy quotes by market region
- Development of submittal information for project material quotes, as requested
- On-going monitoring of upcoming/potential project opportunities with the sales teams
- Familiarity with plumbing, heating and industrial materials
- Knowledge of basic use and installation of different PVF products
- Superior Time management, organization skills and record keeping
- Willingness to work in a Team effort to best serve our customer base
- Student mentality with urge to learn and grow within the team and Famous Community
