Reporting to the Capital Engineering Manager, you will take ownership of end to end delivery of capital projects, providing strong leadership across technical development, feasibility assessments, and execution of engineering activities within the supply chain of our Claremont Cadbury Site. This role demands a high level of collaboration and agility, ensuring all projects meet Mondelēz's rigorous standards for safety, quality, environmental compliance, and performance.
How you will contribute
As a key contributor to our dynamic engineering team at the Claremont site, you will lead the planning, design, and implementation phases of a wide variety of capital projects from automation and process improvements to infrastructure upgrades and new equipment installations. You will be expected to manage technical detail while balancing stakeholder engagement, budget control, risk management, and alignment with business goals.
You will be a champion of Mondelēz 's project management and innovation processes, driving adherence to global standards while leveraging your engineering background and project leadership capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to work across diverse functions of engineering, operations, procurement, quality, and safety in a fast paced, high performing FMCG environment.

  • Project management skills and Execution - managing engineering resources, people management and development needs. Ensure compliance with Mondelez standards in business and innovation processes in project management
  • Leading to work effectively across cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders, working within the capital engineering team and key stakeholders to deliver the capital and technical agenda of your allocated projects during the development phase of capital investment projects
  • Senior-level technical expertise across engineering disciplines

More about this role
What extra ingredients you will bring:
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience working in FMCG, preferably food and beverage industries. Experience in confectionary process's is highly advantageous.
  • Strong & agile project management skills
  • Experience in food processing, automation and packaging systems such as; Batch preparation and processing & Automation solutions experience including AGV systems, SCADA & instrumentations
  • Conveying and palletising systems
  • High speed packing solutions
  • Australian standards and regulatory compliance knowledge and experience
  • IECEX & ATEX standards(hazardous dust control) will be regarded advantageous
  • Building management systems and services knowledge
