At RK Industries, you'll play a vital role in the successful delivery of mechanical construction projects by supporting project planning, procurement, scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, subcontractor coordination, and project closeout activities. Working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments, you'll help keep projects moving from preconstruction through final completion.

What You'll Do

  • Support Project Managers in the execution and administration of mechanical construction projects
  • Manage and maintain project documentation, including daily reports, timecards, as-built drawings, receiving documents, and change documentation
  • Assist with contract administration, negotiations, and compliance requirements
  • Prepare and distribute project budgets and financial tracking reports
  • Coordinate and participate in preconstruction and project turnover meetings
  • Ensure permits, licenses, and project compliance requirements are maintained
  • Support procurement and buyout activities for materials, equipment, and subcontractors
  • Assist with subcontract negotiations, scope reviews, and contract execution
  • Manage submittals, shop drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and closeout documentation
  • Coordinate material ordering, delivery schedules, and purchasing activities
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules alongside Project Managers and field leadership
  • Support change order requests (CORs), change orders (COs), and associated documentation
  • Monitor labor productivity, labor hours, and project cost performance
  • Assist with billing processes, collections, and project financial reporting
  • Verify materials and completed work align with invoicing and billing requirements
  • Coordinate communication between owners, architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and project teams
  • Support project quality control requirements and documentation
  • Assist with project closeout efforts and turnover documentation
  • Support safety initiatives and ensure compliance with company and project safety programs
  • Help identify project risks and develop solutions that support successful outcomes

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
