What You Will Achieve
- Perform scheduled inspections, testing, and maintenance of systems, including, pressure vessels, piping, and related assets
- Ensure all inspection activities align with applicable standards and are documented properly(OSHA, API, and site requirements)
- Complete various assignments based on established procedures, identify process improvements, and troubleshoot issues.
- Share knowledge within and across multiple work groups, and proactively resolve non-routine problems by making informed decisions.
- Work under general supervision, independently handle recurring assignments, and refer new or unusual problems to the supervisor.
- Ensure non-standard work is reviewed for sound technical judgment, and hold oneself accountable to Pfizer standards, guidelines, and values, while training others.
- Adhere to safety procedures, job safety analysis (JSA), and safe work permits, ensuring compliance with plant safety programs.
- Ensure utility activities comply with SOPs, cGMP, and other regulatory practices, and read and follow equipment schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
- Stay current with code and regulatory updates and participate in ongoing training and certification programs
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4+ years of experience in a related field
- Certification in the assigned area if applicable
- NDE Experience
- Solid understanding of basic mathematics and general trades
- Ability to perform a range of maintenance tasks
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):
- Bachelor's Degree
- Pharmaceutical and/or Bio-Pharmaceutical experience
- Knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) operations
- Strong problem-solving skills
- NDE certifications

- Strong attention to detail

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
- Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and with required PPE
