The Opportunity
Downer’s Energy & Utilities team is seeking motivated and experienced Casual Mechanical Fitters to support maintenance and outage activities at Eraring Power Station. Working within a shutdown environment, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, inspection, repair and overhaul activities of boiler systems, ducting, main steam pipework, fans, and vestibules. This role will include equipment strip-downs, component replacement, precision measurements, reassembly, and supporting critical outage schedules in a heavy industrial environment.
About You
• Hold a recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification (Certificate III Engineering - Mechanical Trade)
• Current Driver’s Licence
• White Card / Construction Induction
• Two-day Confined Space Course, Working at Heights – Completed within the last 3 years
• Committed to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
