What You Will Do
- Support the design and refinement of mechanical components and assemblies
- Clean up and improve new designs in SolidWorks
- Help create clear, accurate work instructions to support the repeatable, reliable assembly of complex mechanical systems
- Assist in organizing design details so assemblies can be built accurately, reliably, and consistently
- Contribute to a hands-on engineering environment focused on precision and continuous improvement
- Pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree
- Junior standing preferred
- Proficient in SolidWorks
- Strong mechanical aptitude and sound engineering judgment
- Strong attention to detail
- Naturally curious about how things work
- Excited by geeky, high-end technology
- Able to think critically, ask good questions, and learn quickly
- Motivated, dependable, and ready to contribute in a hands-on environment
- Extracurricular activities, design teams, personal projects, leadership roles, or other evidence that you genuinely care about engineering
- Clear signs of initiative, discipline, and follow-through
- Evidence that you do not just complete assignments, but actually enjoy building, creating, fixing, and figuring things out
