StandardAero is seeking motivated, eager, and innovative students looking to join our maintenance teams for the 2026 summer term.

As an intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience supporting our Maintenance Department this summer  You'll gain hands-on experience with mechanical systems, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement projects in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Support maintenance engineers with troubleshooting and equipment reliability projects.
  • Assist in preventive maintenance planning, data collection, and process improvement.
  • Help update technical documentation, drawings, and maintenance procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance safety and efficiency.

Position Requirements:   

  • Enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering (or related) bachelor's program.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with Excel, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks is a plus.
  • Available to work full-time on-site 10-12 weeks. 
  • A prospective student must meet screening and security requirements.
  • Must be able to accurately read and interpret dimensions and measurements.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time daily.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, crawl, and climb ladders in order to work on areas within the aircraft that are difficult to access.
  • Must be able to think clearly and speak intelligibly on the telephone and in person.
  • The internship term will be Summer 2026 (beginning mid - May)
  • Length of internship is between 10-12 weeks
  • Internship is located in Dallas, TX; ** students must have own lodging
  • 1 Internship slot available  
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S
