Job PurposeAs Engineering Intern at VulcanForms Inc., Devens, MA, you will be responsible for assisting our engineering teams to drive improved product quality by identifying manufacturing issues, helping develop cost-effective solutions and use data-driven root cause and corrective action tool usage to support business goals & objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and test prototype machine systems, working with senior engineering guidance
- Analyze machine performance to develop and implement solutions to industrial scale metal 3d printer systems
- Support the engineering organization through various parts of technical development
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Mechanical Engineering program
- Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles
- Ability to work with multiple different teams in a cross-collaborative environment
- Previous internship, co-op, or hands-on project experience
- Exposure to manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with CAD software
- This is a paid co-op/internship opportunity starting in May 2026 and will last for 3 months
VulcanForms offers a competitive salary package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
The hourly pay range for this position is $24–$27.
