Our Nuclear Programs and Consulting group has an opening for a Mechanical Engineer to ensure client goals or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters within nuclear operations and engineering. - Minimum Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
- Demonstrate experience of delivering a range of projects from concept through detailed design completion
- Must have strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and within the client organization
- Sole USA Citizenship is required. No Dual citizens or visas for this role (to comply with government customer requirements and/or applicable government regulations)
Preferred Qualifications
- PE license preferred
- NQA-1 experience
- Competent using discipline specific technical software such as: REVIT, Carrier HAP, Trane TRACE, PipeFlo, AutoCAD, and MicroStation, etc.
- Q clearance or eligibility to obtain a “Q”
- Previous experience working with teaming subcontractors to produce a consolidate design
- Previous DOE Nuclear project experience
- Current or former US security clearance
- A person residing a commutable distance from our Oak Ridge, TN office
- 5 years of design experience with HVAC

Equipment and Machines: Standard office PC, with software will be provided
Building Information Management design software
Attendance:
On-Site Security training is mandatory before performing project duties
Timely response to resolve issues is expected
Travel required – As needed

Compensation Details:
$75,000-$115,000
