Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

Position Summary:

Work on company strategic projects reviewing drawings, creating test plans, etc. to drive towards project implementation

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess in scope part drawings for completeness
• Create draft drawings with updated template and measurements
• Generate Test Protocols for evaluation
• Conduct product testing
• Compile data to produce Test Report output
• Manage document data in system (Agile)
• Review Supplier raw material/component spec sheets
• Compare comparison sheet for current vs proposed raw materials
• Evaluate Supplier Test Reports and provide data-based input
• Contact and work with external test labs
• Provide frequent and accurate updates on actions

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• Proficiency in 3D modeling – SolidWorks/AutoCAD preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role,
• English Speaking
