Project Leader Mechanical

The Role

You are responsible for managing multiple projects. You ensure that the projects are executed safely, on time and within budget and that the applicable quality requirements are met. The projects can vary from large investment projects and innovations to smaller adjustments in process installations, buildings and infrastructure. You are part of the engineering team. You manage projects from the feasibility phase to realization. This includes the options to process design to project cost estimates to enable investment decisions. You lead multidisciplinary project teams and initiate and coordinate technical reviews with end users and maintenance. You develop comprehensive project plans and coordinate technical staff. You communicate proactively with all stakeholders to stay informed of progress, escalate risks, problems and changes related to critical project milestones. You prepare technical specifications for civil, steel and mechanical works and conduct technical bid evaluation and supplier meetings. You supervise field construction activities and hand over to the production and maintenance organization after completion.

About you

• Bachelor's or academic degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the chemical/process industry or related experience at an engineering company. Similar experience preferably in an industrial environment.

• You communicate well in Dutch and English at all organizational levels.

• You work in a structured and organized manner.

• You are customer-oriented.
