Job Summary
Senior Engineer is responsible for completing Product Engineering, Product Initiative design, development , order engineering tasks and provide inquiry/quote support for Engineer to Order (ETO) valves.
Job Description
Provide Product Engineering and Order Engineering Support to complete R&D, & DtV Projects on time & on budget meeting product & market requirements.
Designing, modeling & detailing of industrial control valves / pneumatic actuators.
Responsible for Design Validation and Testing based on product / order requirements.
Provide Quote & technical support for Com Ops Team. (ETO – Engineer to Order Special design).
Technical support to Project Management, , Manufacturing, Operations and Service Engineering team.
Support and contribute to engineering CIP and Sustaining KPIs and KQIs.
Training and Developing Associate engineers.
Job Requirements
BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or Equivalent with minimum experience of 8years in core valve design and development role.
Or Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or Equivalent with minimum experience of 12years in core valve design and development role.
Good Communication skills sets.
Knowledge and hands on experience in Industrial Valve design. (Rotary or Linear Valves)
Knowledge in CAD/CAE Packages Solidworks, Ansys, or Autodesk Inventor.
Knowledge in ASME, API, ISO Standards.
Hands on experience in BOM Preparation with Oracle / SAP or any other ERP is an added advantage.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, procedures, international codes and standards or governmental regulations.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from both internal and external customers.
Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Ability to initiate Root Cause Analysis and corrective action plans.
Skills Required
- BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or equivalent with minimum 8 years experience in valve design and development
- Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or equivalent with minimum 12 years experience in valve design and development
- Hands-on experience in industrial valve design (rotary or linear valves)
- Proficiency with CAD/CAE packages: Solidworks, Ansys, or Autodesk Inventor
- Knowledge of ASME, API, ISO standards
