Role Responsibilities
Perform engineering analysis and systems-level design evaluation under general supervision
Design or modify mechanical engineering layouts, schematics, and specifications demonstrating strong understanding of mechanical fundamentals
Perform simulation-based analysis (FEA, thermal, CFD) to validate designs; troubleshoot and interpret simulation results
Troubleshoot and solve moderately complex to complex mechanical problems using systematic problem-solving and root cause analysis
Coordinate with cross functional and multi domain teams from ideation to design validation and production release
Perform and document comprehensive engineering test reports; generate alpha/beta/release documentation
Enable handling, assembly, disassembly, and lifecycle support of parts, components, and assemblies
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
4-6 years of related mechanical design, mechanical engineering, or product development experience
Hands-on experience with simulation tools (FEA, CFD, thermal analysis - ANSYS, or equivalent)
Strong understanding of mechanical fundamentals (stress analysis, material properties, thermal systems, dynamics)
Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting capability; ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, NX, CATIA, or equivalent)
Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and manufacturing methods
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree (M.Tech/M.S.) or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or specialized area (Thermal, Structural, Dynamics, etc.)
Expertise in one or more areas: structural analysis, thermal systems, vibration analysis.
Experience with semiconductor equipment design or manufacturing (advantage for understanding high-precision, high-reliability requirements)
Demonstrated systems engineering approach to multi-domain mechanical problems
Knowledge of material selection, failure analysis, or reliability engineering principles
Experience with precision mechanisms, or high-vacuum systems
