Reporting to the Head of Development, Mechanical Engineering, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing loudspeakers and accessories for our professional sound reinforcement systems in close collaboration with the Product Design and Acoustics Engineering teams.
  • Leading design activities, including: Consolidation of specifications, Development of project schedules, Definition of milestones and identification of project risks.
  • Preparing products for industrialization through: Participation in FMEA and DFMEA activities, Development of prototypes and execution of qualification testing.
Development & Optimization
  • Analyze requirements and propose appropriate technical solutions.
  • Perform sizing calculations and numerical simulations of components while taking into account mechanical (static and dynamic) as well as functional constraints.
  • Prepare technical specifications to ensure optimal design solutions that comply with applicable regulations.
  • Develop qualification test protocols for prototypes.
  • Create, maintain, and update project technical validation documentation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Contribute to the optimization of manufacturing processes and the development of technical guidelines to improve product design in collaboration with the Industrialization and Manufacturing Engineering teams.
  • Provide technical support to the Quality, Technical Documentation, and Software teams.
  • Play a key role in continuous improvement initiatives, including:
    • Contributing to lessons learned and feedback activities.
    • Supporting the implementation of new tools such as PLM systems.
    • Integrating new technologies.
    • Developing and deploying new measurement and testing methods.
Your ProfileEducation & Experience
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), including both static and dynamic simulations.
  • Mechanical calculations and strength of materials.
  • Manufacturing methods and processes.
  • Test correlation, tolerance stack-up analysis, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • CAD tools and PDM/PLM systems.
Soft Skills
  • Strong autonomy and analytical skills.
  • Teamwork and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Curious mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
