Overall Goal
- The Wet Seal Systems Project Engineer is responsible for detailed review and engineering sign off in providing technical and engineering assistance on wet auxiliary system from selection, specification review, calculations, P&ID, system description and clean order input and hand off to design engineering team.
- They will be the first point of contact for all wet seal system engineering activities and respond to technical queries and needs of customers and commercial operations team.
- The incumbent should be “Customer Centric” and demonstrate a “Can Do” approach to gain customer confidence.
- Take complete ownership for standard system engineering submittal documents from engineering and also Sign off Custom Engineered Systems closely reviewing the RISK with transmittal from reporting Manager.

- Specification and compliance and Exceptions log review
- Reference drawings search and calculations
- Work instructions for design engineering to create BOM and GA
- Creation of Instrument data sheets, Utilities consumption list, Alarm settings table, Logic diagram and control narrative for wet seal systems
- Creation of Inspection test plan (ITP) and Installation and Operating Manual (IOM) in accordance with Vendor requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Competence in MS Office applications.
- 5 to 8 years working experience with mechanical seals & wet seal systems is preferred.
- Knowledge in SolidWorks and design in preparing assembly and component drawings.
- Familiar with Mechanical engineering design and ANSI / API standard Ability to analyze and interpret engineering specifications and drawings.
- Knowledge in basic calculations for structural analysis, flow, orifice, heat load, pressure drop etc.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, distinguish between relevant and/or irrelevant contributing factors and draw valid conclusions.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) and strong self - motivation, willingness to learn and work ethic.
Skills Required
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 to 8 years working experience with mechanical seals and wet seal systems
- Competence in MS Office applications
- Knowledge in SolidWorks and preparing assembly and component drawings
- Familiarity with mechanical engineering design and ANSI / API standards; ability to analyze and interpret engineering specifications and drawings
- Knowledge of basic calculations for structural analysis, flow, orifice, heat load, and pressure drop
