Mechanical Engineer, Senior

Mechanical Engineer, Senior is responsible for the mechanical development of Transfer Case products, including requirement definition, design validation, performance improvement, and technical problem solving. This role supports customer programs and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and launch.

1) Transfer Case Mechanical Development

• Define mechanical performance requirements for Transfer Case products and support design and validation activities.
• Lead mechanical development activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Analyze test results and provide design improvement recommendations to enhance product performance and reliability.
• Ensure technical alignment across Design, Systems, Validation, and Manufacturing functions.

2) Design Validation and Product Improvement

• Plan and support design verification and validation activities.
• Investigate engineering issues and drive corrective actions to resolve technical concerns.
• Support root cause analysis and implementation of product improvements.
• Ensure development activities meet performance, durability, quality, and customer requirements.

3) Customer Support and Technical Communication

• Serve as a technical interface for HMC-related development activities.
• Support technical discussions and reviews with customers.
• Interpret customer requirements and align development activities with program objectives.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate development status and improvement actions.
