Responsibilities:
Incumbent will be responsible for the specification of Process units, Utility packaged units including Boilers, Refrigeration Packages, HVAC Systems, etc Familiarity with Material handling systems is desirable. Exposure to engineering of technology packages and FLNG/LNG and Offshore facilities is desirable.
Basic understanding of rotating machinery design
Perform technical bid evaluations.
Vendor drawing review and engineering coordination of technical information with vendors and company engineering specialists.
Witnessing of acceptance tests at vendor shops.
Field commissioning and startup support when required.
Willing to travel globally to support projects as required
Qualifications:
BE / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering field
20+ years of progressive experience, specifically in rotating machinery specification and selection and an overall experience of around 20+ years
Working knowledge of current API standards for rotating equipment, particularly centrifugal pumps, centrifugal compressors, and auxiliary systems.
Experience with chemical, petrochemical, refining, and oil and gas projects is preferred, especially LNG liquefaction, ethylene, refining and offshore facilities.
Engineering contractor experience preferred
Computer proficiency in MS Windows and related MS Office productivity software
Additional experience with installation and commissioning is a plus
