How you will do it:
The successful candidate will provide engineering assistance to support the design and manufacture of heat pump CYK prototype build, fan assembly and vee module profile design for data center chillers, pressure vessels, and data analysis. Work may include 2D CAD, engineering analysis, and refrigeration and piping analysis.
In addition to supporting local needs, interns participate in activity across the broader Johnson Controls network for skills training and compete in presentation events.
Duration: This will be a full-time undergraduate summer 2025 internship. Candidates may have the opportunity to work part-time during the semester as well. Prior interns are encouraged to apply to full-time positions as their graduation date approaches, and senior interns may receive post-graduation, full-time employment offer letters following exemplary summer internship.

Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at an ABET accredited U.S. college or university
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; preferably Mechanical Engineering
- Currently a junior or senior graduating in Dec 2025 or later

Preferred to have CFD, CAD experience

US Citizen, or intern labor permitted
- Local candidates preferred; no relocation provided
