Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing customized products according to customers’ application requirements. Applications focus on Acoustic, X-ray, Bond test and other test and inspection machines in electronic, automotive and semi-conductor industry.
- Responsible for product transfer from oversea to China local factory. Conducting product design improvement to ensure the success of the launch of new product.
- Sustain Engineering support – trouble shooting, localization, ECN, Continual Improvement, Implement VA/VE project to improve products quality and reduce cost etc.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical / automation engineering.
- Above 3 years’ experience with one of the below background is preferred:
- Experience in the electronic or semiconductor process or inspection equipment.
- Experience in the customized precision assembling or inspection equipment design, English can be used as working language.
- Worked in the equipment department of a company which produce product in mass production.
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge to customize production and automation jigs design, prefer semiconductor machine equipment.
- Knowledge of material selection, FEA, tolerance analysis, FMEA. VA/VE. etc.
- Excellent skills in 3D (Prefer Solidworks) and 2D drafting.
- Good project management skills.
- Good manufacture process knowledge in CNC, Sheet metal, plastic forming etc.
- Familiar with standard automation parts selection including motion and pneumatic components.
- Familiar with BOM, ECN/ECO and other manufacturing processes.
- Familiar with ERP systems, such as Efacs, SAP
- Good communication skills and teamwork skills. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Hardworking, self-motivated, self-discipline, self-learning, and works well under pressure.
- Good problem-solving skills as well as strong team work spirit.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
- Occasional travel aboard with limited period around 2 weeks or more.
