We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer/Design - Entry to work on a 6 month contract.
This position will work as part of the Engineering Department.
The Mechanical Designer/ Engineer will be performing a variety of design/drafting activities, including preparing/updating installation drawings for projects, preparing assembly/manufacturing drawings and doing stress analysis.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIITIES
- Prepare 3 dimensional drawings, installation drawings and illustration drawings (logo/header submittals).
- Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes, in collaboration with sales and production office to ensure consistent documentation of the project.
- Works with engineering and manufacturing on production which meet and exceed the customer’s requirements.
- Conduct stress analysis, FEA experience
REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in ME or MET.
- Experience using Inventor or Solidworks or other 3D design software.
- Exposure to AutoCAD 2D
- Familiar with FEA and stress analysis.
