We're looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer that will help design and develop sophisticated electronic and opto-mechanical systems used in mission-critical aerospace environments.
This is not a routine CAD role, but an opportunity to solve complex engineering challenges that directly support the future of aviation technology.

What You’ll Do:
- Supporting requirements development through conceptual design and engineering analysis.
- Designing mechanical and opto-mechanical systems using PTC Creo.
- Performing thermal and structural analysis to ensure design reliability.
- Validating analytical models through prototype testing and mockups.
- Supporting environmental qualification testing activities.
- Supporting sustaining engineering and product improvement initiatives.
- Coordinating design activities across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Managing CAD data and engineering design documentation within Windchill environments.

What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of electromechanical design experience.
- Thermal and structural finite element analysis experience.
- Working knowledge of PCB assemblies, machining, and sheet metal fabrication.
- Experience working within integrated engineering project teams.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 environments.
- Strong communication and technical collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with PTC Creo and Windchill.

Work Environment
This role is based onsite in Duluth, Georgia due to the hands-on nature of hardware integration and lab collaboration. Our engineers work in a modern facility designed to support technical innovation, cross functional collaboration, and focused engineering work.
