Mechanical Drafter/Project Support
Position Summary
This position will take customer requirements and turn them into clear, accurate drawings our shop can build from.
This role involves drafting, problem-solving, and project coordination. You’ll work closely with our sales, engineering, and production teams to make sure every project moves smoothly from idea to finished equipment.

Responsibilities
- Create 3D models and shop drawings using SolidWorks
- Build Bills of Materials (BOMs) and project documents
- Review customer drawings, blueprints, and job specifications
- Help gather measurements and project details when needed
- Work with sales, engineering, and production to make sure designs can be built
- Update drawings and documents as projects move through production
- Help troubleshoot design questions during fabrication
- Keep projects organized and moving forward
Qualifications
- Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software
- Proficient in Excel
- Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Someone who takes pride in doing things right
- Valid driver’s license (occasional regional travel)
Preferred Attributes
- HVAC or electrical experience are a huge plus
- Manufacturing or fabrication experience
- Experience working directly with customers or project teams
- Associate’s degree
