  • Maintain current knowledge of emerging technologies, design trends, manufacturing methods, and industry best practices.

  • Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and internal quality policies (e.g., ASME, ANSI, ISO).

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks; additional experience with Tekla, Inventor, AutoCAD, .ifc, and NC files is advantageous.

  • Working knowledge of GD&T, materials science, DFM/DFA principles, and manufacturing processes (machining, welding, sheet metal fabrication).

  • Experience designing mechanical systems with attention to efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and performance.

  • Ability to contribute effectively to design initiatives and collaborate within a team environment.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.

  • Good communication skills with the ability to convey design concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Familiarity with safety requirements, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation in construction or industrial environments.

  • Willingness to engage in hands-on prototype assembly, testing, and refinement.

  • Ability to manage assigned tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.

Additional Information
