Work Location: One Kattameya, Cairo, Egypt.
Job Responsibilities:
Design, plan and co-ordinate mechanical projects.
Provide input on design strategy and conceptual design on mechanical installations.
Undertake design calculations for the design of mechanical installations within major building projects
Design mechanical installations including the production of design drawings and diagrams, and other. relevant standards and to meet requirements for energy efficiency and low carbon.
Designs and develops the mechanical product components from concept through production.
Conducts design analysis and optimization of mechanical components including considerations of design-for-manufacturability and cost.
Selects components and materials based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
Utilizes computer aided engineering design and analysis software in the design and development.
Develops mechanical design documentation including drawings, specifications etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
4+ years’ experience with advanced Solid works and manufacturing.
Expert in Solid works creating parts, assemblies, design tables and drawings.
Proficient in Solid works creating 2D, 3D, drawings.
Mechanical background, preferably in sheet metal design and shop drawings.
Detail oriented, organized with the ability to handle multiple ongoing projects.
Familiar with engineering process, revisions, ECR, change orders, etc.
Proficient with MS Office and Adobe.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
