About the job:- Working individually or as part of a team develop new products from concept stage through production: design, construct, test and implement.
- Evaluate the capability of the design to meet performance and interface requirements by analysis or testing as appropriate.
- Provide technical support to field sales personnel and customers, including potential sales, technical inquiries and complaints.
- Work with Manufacturing and Quality to achieve quality, reliability and manufacturability targets.
- Thoroughly document and report on the design process, keeping records of all design activities.
- Research new technology and new materials and explore possibilities of applying to new CVP products.
- Visits customers as needed to discuss new product and new technologies
- Support existing products as assigned.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree
- 7+ years mechanical design and support automotive related product
- Experience with plastics and metals and mechanical design methodology and tools
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Team player
- Good organizational skills
- Automotive Car EV PDU/BDU or Energy Storage BDU design experience
- Automative Car fuse design and relative experience is preferred
