How You’ll Make an Impact- Design power transformers in line with IEEE standards and customer specifications.
- Prepare general arrangement drawings and bills of materials to meet project timelines.
- Develop active parts and windings within factory guidelines and technical checklists.
- Collaborate with global teams to deliver application-specific transformer designs.
- Participate in internal design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with factory teams to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing.
- Support cross-functional engineering activities and knowledge sharing.
- Build strong working relationships across departments and geographies
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in transformer mechanical design.
- Proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling tools (e.g., Creo).
- Familiarity with IEEE standards and transformer layout principles.
- Understanding of electrical clearances and lead arrangements.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
