JOB SUMMARY

Mechanical Design Engineer Shall develop and review, new and current mechanical engineering design of a basic to

moderate complexity. Gathers design requirements and recommends steps to implement basic to moderate reference

design. Implementation or design modifications of existing product. Perform and analyze basic to moderate chassis design,

referring more complex issues to management or more senior team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop chassis and Mechanism for Full automated and Semi-Automated Machine design using standard 3D CAD

Tools

- Gathers information relating to Fixtures, chassis, full automated and semi-automated machine and Mechanism

design and recommends basic improvements to design that improves cost, simplification-use, or quality.

- Perform and analyze mechanical chassis subsystems designs applying key mechanical design development tools,

and standards

- Analyzes Automated and Semi-Automated Machine Mechanical Designs and Assembly.

- Analyzes moderately complex mechanical design and propose improvements.

- Assembles Mechanism and Mechanical prototypes and checks them for fit/form/functionality

- Works with and manages external suppliers/manufacturers

- Provide Support to all safety, health and environment (EHS) Programs and initiatives

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

- Developed multiple projects that exercises Mechanical Engineering Design specializations: Cleanroom Standards,

Tolerance Analysis, Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, Serviceability and Mechanical Machining.

- Knowledge of key development tools and design standards: 3D CAD, Finite Element Analysis, Tolerances,

Manufacturing Principles, interference Checks, Mechanism Design Analysis, Mechanical Fatigue and Vibration

Analysis, Motion Simulations, Mechanical Drawings for Manufacturing Quality, Product Lifecycle Management,

Material selection, Pneumatic and Servo Motion Knowledge.

- Working knowledge of industry standards

- Intermediate English Language Proficiency

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

- Mechanical Engineering Degree (BSME/MSME or equivalent experience)

- 2+ Years experience in mechanical design and verification
