22 February 2026Within our Pro Robotics R&D department, we are dedicated to delivering high‑quality and innovative products and solutions for the professional segment of robotic lawn mowers. This is an area where we are currently driving rapid development, and where we will continue to make substantial investments — all to enhance the experience for our customers. To further strengthen our mechanical engineering team, we are now looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer.
Role Description
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be part of the mechanical engineering team within Pro Robotics R&D. Today, the team consists of over 20 colleagues with expertise in design engineering, technical project management, and geometry assurance. In total, Pro Robotics R&D comprises around 100 employees working across mechanics, electronics, software, and digital solutions.
You will collaborate with passionate and technically skilled colleagues who are driven to create products that exceed customer expectations. You will be part of an exciting business area experiencing strong growth and operate in a global context with many cross‑functional touchpoints. This role also offers excellent opportunities for personal and professional development within a company committed to long‑term innovation.
In this position, you will work in development projects within the professional robotic mower segment. You will be responsible for your tasks from early concept through to production, and you will also support product maintenance for products already in manufacturing. We place great emphasis on personal leadership, engagement, and accountability, with a strong focus on delivering according to plan. The role involves extensive cross‑functional collaboration across Pro Robotics R&D as well as with specialist functions and various stakeholders.
About You

You bring:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
- At least 5 years of professional experience in product development
- Strong personal leadership and the ability to drive assignments from start to finish
- A genuine passion for technology and curiosity for exploring new technologies
- Strong communication skills
- Experience designing molded parts (meriting)
- Experience working with the CAD system Catia (an advantage)

Our team is based in Huskvarna, where we believe in the value of working closely together. While some flexibility exists, we aim on-site presence, as collaboration is at the heart of how we work.
