Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Mechanical Design Engineer Intern to join our
engineering team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in
product design, sheet metal engineering, and manufacturing processes while working on live projects
under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in designing 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Support the development of sheet metal components, enclosures, and mechanical assemblies.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and DXF files.
• Work with the engineering team on product development and prototype validation.
• Coordinate with production teams to understand manufacturing processes and design
improvements.
• Assist in implementing Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.
• Participate in product testing, documentation, and design revisions.
• Support engineering documentation and revision control.
Requirements
Required Skills:
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Eligibility:
• Final-year students or recent graduates in B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and mechanical design concepts.
• Knowledge of sheet metal design and manufacturing processes is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Skills Required
- Final-year student or recent graduate in B.E., B.Tech, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Basic knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Understanding of engineering drawings and mechanical design concepts
