As a Mechanical Design Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will contribute to the design and development of innovative electro-mechanical solutions that meet high standards of quality and reliability. You will apply your expertise in mechanical design principles and CAD tools to support the creation of advanced mechanical systems and components.
You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Boyne City, MI or Freeport, IL location on a Hybrid work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical specifications and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
• Perform mechanical analysis and testing to validate design performance and reliability.

YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical design and development
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or PTC Creo, and experience with mechanical analysis and simulation tools to ensure design integrity and performance
• Experience with materials selection, manufacturing processes, and mechanical testing

The annual base salary range for this position is $83,200.00 - $104,100.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
