Enexor is a venture-backed climate tech company building distributed systems that convert waste into clean energy and captured carbon. Located just outside Nashville, we’re rethinking how the world handles emissions, energy access, and sustainability—one rugged system at a time.
Why This Role MattersOur systems don’t live on a whiteboard. They get built. We need a Mechanical CAD Designer who can own our product models end-to-end: updating and refining Inventor models, managing drawings, and collaborating daily with engineers across mechanical, electrical, and process domains.
You’ll be the go-to person for CAD at Enexor, bridging vision and execution with precision and speed.
What You’ll Do- Create, update, and maintain detailed 3D models and 2D drawings in Autodesk Inventor
- Support engineering teams with drawing packages for fabrication, assembly, and field deployment
- Manage part libraries, drawing revisions, BOMs, and design documentation
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure full system integration in tight spaces
- Translate conceptual layouts into manufacturable designs
- Work directly with engineers and fabricators to resolve design issues in real time
RequirementsWhat We’re Looking For
- Expert-level Inventor skills (parts, assemblies, and drawings)
- Strong mechanical drafting and modeling fundamentals
- Experience working with weldments, sheet metal, and structural framing
- Ability to interpret and apply GD&T, tolerances, and DFM best practices
- Detail-oriented with excellent file organization and version control habits
- Comfortable on the shop floor and working hands-on with prototypes
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with pressure systems, piping, or modular assemblies
- Familiarity with electrical routing and harnessing in CAD
- Prior work in cleantech, energy, or field-deployed hardware
BenefitsWhy You’ll Love It Here
- Mission with urgency
- Flat org, fast decisions
- Equity upside in a growing climate tech startup
- Hands-on, real-world product work
- Competitive salary + equity opportunities
- 401(k) and QSEHRA health stipend

What We Do
Enexor BioEnergy ("Enexor") provides on-site, renewable energy solutions to help solve the world's organic and plastic waste problem. Enexor's patented bioenergy system derives value from organic waste by producing 24/7 continuous power and thermal energy for facilities and microgrids worldwide. Enexor's Bio-CHP™ system, the Bio-200™, generates 75kW of power and 125kW of thermal energy while offsetting harmful greenhouse gas emissions. Enclosed within a 20-foot custom shipping container, the Bio-200™'s strategic design is deployable next to a retail store in the United States, hurricane exposed areas in the Caribbean, or a village in Africa. Enexor manufactures its systems at its headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee, a Nashville suburb. Enexor's mission is to create renewable onsite bioenergy from organic and plastic waste to power facilities worldwide.
